I love skiing at Fernie because it is the ultimate of all ski resorts. I have raveled around the world skiing at some of the best and notorious resorts but nothing can compare to Fernie. I grew up skiing at Fernie and it really epitomizes what I love about the sport and why I do it. I have numerous memories of the infinite powder and endless adventures.

There is no other place in the world that can offer such a diverse and numerous amount of terrain while catering to all levels of skiers and riders. What I once used to hike to is now open for the world to enjoy, yet the locals still have their special hidden spots to ski and ride on those epic snow days.

How many places in the world can say that. I love the small town mentality of the resort and I love the fact that it still feels like the ski hill that I grew up on. The biggest thing that I miss while raveling on the world cup circuit is the great powder skiing amongst the trees with my great friends.
